We the undersigned petition the council to Do you look on other UK Council’s websites and see the difference with the way they deal with the household waste/recycling service.
Thinking about this matter, when you look at other Councils and the way they deal with their household recycling/waste service, it makes you think how poorly the Sheffield household waste/recycling service is dealt with.
I say this because you look at the way the Council deal with the household, waste/recycling service, they recycle more items than Sheffield Council does.
The only items Sheffield Council recycle in the brown bin is plastic bottles/glass, jars/bottles, tins/cans. I say this because other UK Councils recycle a whole lot more items then Sheffield Council does. I can give one example of an area that Sheffield Council’s recycling service needs to improvement in, that is recycling more plastics, e.g yoghurt pots, margarine tubs, fruit tubes, and so many other plastics that should not end up in the bin.
There is no point giving Sheffield households a large brown bin
if you as a council, are not going to recycle the earth resources
in a respectful way.
