To put a License on Items that can Start a Fire

We the undersigned petition the council to - Do you wonder what the Fire Service go through when people/children, under the age of 16, who may think that it is a bit of a laugh to deliberately set light, for example, to somebody’s wheelie bin, and walk away from it. The fire service have to spend time putting out the fire, when they could be needed elsewhere on a real emergency. Not forgetting in this situation that the wheelie bin could be near the persons' property, which could also endanger the lives of the people living in the property and can quickly spread to other properties. It could also cost somebody their life, just because somebody else finds it funny to set, in this example, someone's' wheelie bin on fire. Just maybe be funny for the person who has done it and they may not get caught, but sadly to somebody else, it could mean a huge amount of finances going towards a problem, which sadly somebody else started.

This is why I ask Sheffield Council to put a license on items that can deliberately start a fire, e.g lighters, wooden matches, just may stop children from getting their hands on them and destroying someone else’s personal property/personal space, or even better, before someone gets hurt or costs someone their life.
